INSIDE SAX

The ensemble was originally established by four versatile musicians who boast over a decade of collaboration, performing together on the stages of numerous Italian and foreign theaters. A quartet with an evolving sound, capable of easily embracing genres, styles, and characteristics of different musical languages. Through the various shades of the saxophone, it offers a unique interpretation of the intersections between classical, jazz, and ethnic music paths.

SUITE ITALIANA

Italian Saxophone Quartet "INSIDE SAX" presents "Italian Suite"

The saxophone quartet INSIDE SAX proposes Italian Suite, a musical journey through the colors of Italy, its memories, sounds, past traditions, and projection towards the future. It is a snapshot of today's Italy, with composers who have spread Italian culture abroad and, in return, have imported a thousand suggestions and influences. It is a tribute to Italian artists who have marked eras and styles, exploring new sounds infused with contaminations and atypical languages, while always maintaining an expressiveness and a typically Italian matrix. The program features original pieces for saxophone quartet written by renowed Italian composers such as Stefano Nanni, Paolo Marzocchi, Luciano Feliciani, Massimo Valentini, Roberto Bartoli, Emiliano Rodriguez, as well as unpublished arrangements by Giorgio Babbini, music by Nino Rota and Fiorenzo Carpi.
